The Discovery Channel Canada sent a production team to Orlando International Airport to film a segment highlighting SRI’s Airfield Radar System (ARS). The segment includes footage of the system in operation, and interviews with SRI President Daniel Flynn and Orlando’s Security Director Brian Gilliam.
ARS improves safety and security at airports by automating surveillance of the airfield, and responding to safety and security threats such at intruders, wildlife, and unsafe operations.
Orlando International Airport is the nation’s third-largest airport in square miles, after Denver and Dallas-Ft. Worth, and services 35 million passengers per year.
