New Reseller Agreement Adds Tracking of Non-Cooperative Targets to Airfield Management System
SRI announced today the signing of a formal reseller agreement with Harris Corporation, who recently acquired Exelis Inc. The agreement covers SRI’s Airfield Radar System (ARS), which will be integrated with the Harris Symphony® data and applications suite. ARS automates 360 degree tracking of people, wildlife, vehicles, and aircraft, and is the most effective technology for tracking objects without transponders. The Symphony® data and applications suite is a comprehensive, integrated airport and airline operations management platform that provides key business functions such as operations, revenue and environmental compliance management.
The integration of these tools will significantly increase the value provided to airports by including non-cooperative targets in the Symphony® safety and operations algorithms, and by adding additional features such as perimeter security and wildlife mitigation.
